Read Across America Day and Kensington Hilltop School's 2nd annual book swap!Celebrate Read Across America and Dr. Seuss' Birthday on March 2nd.We all have books that we have outgrown around the house. How nice to give them a new home! All the books will go toward a school-wide swap on March 2nd. Every student in every class will have a chance during the day to choose a new-to-you book with their class.Bring in your outgrown children's books that are still in good shape during the week of February 22nd. KASEP Spring registration ...... takes place in the Kensington Community Center (aka, Youth Hut) on Wednesday, March 3, starting
- at 6:45 pm for kindergarten students
- and 7:15 pm for students in grades 1-6.
The winter session continues until Friday, March 19, and the spring session classes start up on Monday, March 22.

Our Lost and Found baskets in the MPR are full and overflowing!If your child is missing a coat, jacket, sweatshirt, lunchbox, hat, or any other item of clothing, please check out the baskets just inside the doors to the Multi-Purpose Room.They will be emptied, and the items given to charity, during the week of March 8th, 2010.
KCC Summer Day Camp registration for summer camp begins ...... on Wednesday, March 10, 7 pm, in the Kensington Community Center.Summer camp starts Monday, June 14, and continues for 10 weeks.Registration forms are available in the KCC office or online at www.aboutkensington.com under "children's services."

REMEMBER HAITI DAYFriday, March 12, wear Haiti T-shirts to school!On the two-month anniversary of the January earthquake, Hilltop asks that Haiti t-shirt purchasers wear their shirts in support of ongoing efforts to help the Haitian survivors. The spare change drive continues in each classroom as well.T-shirts are still available!
