Principal’s message May 5, 2022

Hello Kensington Community,

The decorated doors for our teachers are truly A-DOOR-ABLE! 😉
This tradition is so appreciated by our staff, as are the many other thoughtful gestures and gifts they receive during this Teacher Appreciation Week. The teacher luncheon was delicious – Thank you as always to our incredible PTA and all of the parent volunteers for everything you do!

Art Night is TONIGHT – see flyer below for details.

Many of your students have worked to complete their science projects – testing a hypothesis and reaching a conclusion.  Debbie Armstrong has the following message for everyone:
“Projects have been coming into the science room for a few weeks now, and your kids are presenting them to their classmates. It is great to hear all the different ideas and see how proud they are of their work.  On Tuesday the 17th and Wednesday the 18th all of our students’ wonderful science projects will be on display in the MPR.  Please come and check them out – Tuesday the 17th from 2:45 – 6:00 and Wednesday the 18th from 2:00 – 6:00.  I hope to see you then! Yay science! – Debbie”

This next week on Monday we will be hanging our playground rules posters (they are so beautiful! Thank you Linda Cleary for your artistic brilliance!).  Please take a moment to remind your student that the playground rules as posted and taught throughout the year, and overall school rules of respect for all members of our community, are really really important.  With only a handful of weeks left of this school year, let’s support all of our students to finish strong – with positivity and harmony!

In Community,

Megan
